Stephen Wiltshire opens Kaleidoscope
Stephen Wiltshire joined with Lewisham children on Friday 2nd November 2007 to officially open the centre. He agreed to a commission to complete a work of Kaleidoscope and this was on display at the opening celebrations. Stephen gave an inspiring speech about his childhood with autism, where his talent as an artist flourished long before he could communicate through language. He has since become world famous and is in inspiration for all: children who aspire to succeed, with or without such a significant disability, parents and professionals.
